The concept of the video plays on the track's critique of wealth. People trying to sell you a capitalist fantasy and no one caring about each other and only in favor of greed. We decided to film a car smashing as symbolic gesture as the antithesis of this capitalist dream. As a car is direct correlation to the industrialization of society and wealth.
The second location is an abandoned power plant. Again capitalism had left lots of places that used to hubs for energy and work desolate. It only felt fitting to have the performances take place in the brutal remnants of industrial consumption.
All major glass and mirror effects done in camera. Overlays done in post-production.
