The dynamic duo, Orphx, radically changed the history of electronic music. Their productions and modular live sets fuse hard techno, industrial, and noise music to produce riveting soundscapes and kathartic releases.

These portraits were made to complement their 2023 EP titled, “The Way Through All Things”. Using mirrors, and natural light, the ghostly visages were transposed the forest background on to their faces. This ethereal yet heavy aesthetic is intended to complement the industrial sounds of their release. The woods of Königsheide in Berlin was chosen to support the dark forest depicted on their release.

The effects were made in camera with mirrors. The only compositing was putting the two portraits together in the first image.
